Last Updated: April 3, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TrustMatch AI platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. TrustMatch AI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Platform Description
TrustMatch AI is strictly a lead-matching software platform that connects homeowners seeking home repair and improvement services with independent, licensed contractors. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to verify project details, analyze budget expectations against market data, and facilitate introductions between homeowners and contractors.
TrustMatch AI is not a licensed contractor, construction company, or home services provider. We do not perform, supervise, or manage any repair, renovation, or construction work. We do not employ, direct, or control the professionals listed on our Platform.
3. Independent Contractor Relationship
All contractors accessible through the TrustMatch AI Platform are independent professionals operating their own businesses. TrustMatch AI does not employ these professionals, does not set their prices, does not dictate their methods of work, and does not supervise or control the performance of any services they provide. The relationship between a homeowner and a contractor is a direct, independent business relationship. TrustMatch AI is not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a contractor.
4. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
TrustMatch AI accepts zero liability for any of the following arising from services performed by contractors matched through the Platform:
- Property damage of any kind, including but not limited to structural damage, water damage, electrical damage, or cosmetic damage
- Personal injury, bodily harm, or death resulting from work performed by any contractor
- Disputes between homeowners and contractors, including but not limited to pricing disagreements, scope of work disputes, timeline delays, or quality of workmanship complaints
- Financial losses, including but not limited to overpayment, non-completion of work, or costs associated with remediation of defective work
- Any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform or services obtained through the Platform
We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of any work performed by contractors. We do not guarantee, warrant, or endorse any contractor's qualifications, licensing status, insurance coverage, or work product.
5. AI Verification Disclaimer
The "AI-Verified" designation on the Platform indicates that our artificial intelligence system has processed and analyzed submitted project information, including photos and budget expectations, against publicly available market data. This verification is a technological assessment only and does not constitute a professional appraisal, inspection, or guarantee. AI-generated budget ranges are estimates based on aggregated data and may not reflect the actual cost of a specific project. Users should obtain independent quotes and assessments before committing to any work.
6. Lead Purchase & Payment Terms
Contractors pay a fee of $30 per lead to unlock homeowner contact information. This fee is for access to the lead information only. TrustMatch AI does not process, manage, or take any commission on payments between homeowners and contractors for the actual repair or service work. All billing for home services is conducted directly between the contractor and the homeowner, entirely off-platform. Lead purchase fees are non-refundable once the contact information has been revealed.
7. User Responsibilities
Homeowners are responsible for independently verifying a contractor's licensing, insurance, bonding, and references before engaging their services. Contractors are responsible for maintaining all required licenses, permits, insurance, and certifications required by their jurisdiction. All users agree to provide accurate and truthful information when using the Platform.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TrustMatch AI, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or any services performed by contractors matched through the Platform.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the State of New Jersey.
